I have a subscription based product setup. If I enable tax, the checkout form fails with the error: “unknown parameter: tax_percent”.
With logs enabled this is what is output:
[09/11/2020 6:50:21 PM] – [Sub] Starting pre-subscription process.
[09/11/2020 6:50:23 PM] – [Sub] FAILURE: Stripe API error occurred: Received unknown parameter: tax_percentSeptember 11, 2020 at 7:58 pm #3235
Are you using latest versions of both Stripe Payments and Subscriptions add-on? Check for updates via WP Dashboard just to make sure you are.
Can you also provide a link to the page on your site where your subscription product is that shows this error?September 11, 2020 at 8:06 pm #3236

For now – yes. We will add support for the latest API version shortly. It’s currently being tested. Usually not many people are upgrading API version right after it is released, that’s why we assumed we have some time to test the changes first 😉September 11, 2020 at 8:48 pm #3242
ALright.. thanks… just hope that the older API version that I used to have still works (2015)September 11, 2020 at 8:51 pm #3243
Very old API versions may not support SCA-related stuff etc. Is there an option to downgrade to
2019-12-03versions?September 11, 2020 at 9:33 pm #3244
No, it seems to only give me that 2015 option… reason being my stripe account was inactive for a while so that is the last active API version I used…September 12, 2020 at 12:00 pm #3248
Please install current testing version of Stripe Payments plugin (2.0.36t3) https://s-plugins.com/testing-version/
