I have installed and enable the Additional Payment addon.
1. I do not see an extra Google Pay button. There is still only one Buy Now button as before.
2. When I click on Buy Now, I will see an option to buy with your device. But when I click pay, there is no response. I checked Stripe and there is no payment record. Please help. Thanks!

Can you provide a link to the page where your payment button is? I would be able to have a closer look and see what’s wrong.

There are 2 products. The button at the very bottom is from Stripe checkout, and it is working properly.
Thanks!
April 26, 2020 at 2:49 pm #2867alexanderfoxcParticipantThank you.
Can you replace your product image URL to start with https:// rather than http://? This is what seem to be breaking the stuff.
April 26, 2020 at 2:53 pm #2869richardchuiParticipantHi Alex,
Thank you so much for the prompt response.
I am not sure what Product image URL are you referring to? The icon is from the media library and the button is from the plugin short code.
Thanks!
April 26, 2020 at 2:59 pm #2870richardchuiParticipantHi Alex,
Oh, the product thumbnail.
I have changed the 90 day one to https. Still doesn’t work.
I have changed the 360 day one to not use any thumbnail. It works.
Thanks!

Can you try to edit your WP Settings and make sure your website address starts with https?
WP Dashboard -> Settings -> General,
WordPress Address (URL)
andSite Address (URL)
options. This should resolve all future random issues that could happen due to insecure contents on page (and not only with our plugin).
April 26, 2020 at 3:04 pm #2872richardchuiParticipantBtw, the 90 day one, though ok, will show “Unauthorized app” in the Google Pay screen.
This will not happen with the Strip Checkout button.
Thanks!

I am running a multisite WP, difficult to change now. I have tried before and lead to a whole host of other problems.
So, just change the product thumbnail url won’t help?
Last resort will be not to use any thumbnail…
April 26, 2020 at 3:13 pm #2875alexanderfoxcParticipantI just “purchased” 360 days access via Google Pay without any issues.
When you make sure your product thumbnail is using https, the 90 days program will work fine as well 😉

It is working because I took away the thumbnail.> When you make sure your product thumbnail is using https, the 90 days program will work fine as well 😉
I have changed, but no luck 🙁April 26, 2020 at 4:58 pm #2878alexanderfoxcParticipantPlease try current testing version of the plugin https://s-plugins.com/testing-version/
Situations similar to yours should be addressed in it.
April 26, 2020 at 6:12 pm #2880richardchuiParticipantThanks, will try
April 26, 2020 at 8:06 pm #2884richardchuiParticipantJust installed the testing version and the problem goes away. Super!
Just one more issue, as I go through Google Pay, there is a message saying “Unauthorized app. Please make sure you trust this app before proceeding.” And there is no such message when using Stripe Checkout button.
Thanks!
April 27, 2020 at 9:32 am #2886alexanderfoxcParticipantCannot reproduce this. Tried from my Android phone (via Chrome browser) and there is no
Unauthorized App
message displayed. Can you provide a screenshot? Or detailed steps to reproduce it?
