Tagged: chrome, ios, security alert
Hi devs,
Some customers report receiving a warning with the following message:
‘It is not secure – To protect your privacy, Chrome do not autofill this field.
The alert is triggered when try to autofill the card information. I was able to reproduce it by following these steps:
– Being on the checkout modal, tap on the card field
– Select a card from the autofill chrome suggestions. At this point, it seems that works, but the field remains empty.
– Click then on the card icon on the right just below the onscreen iPad keyboard and tap again in the card I want to use.
Result: The alert is shown.
Expected result: The field is properly filled on the first try.

Could I get some help?
Hi, It’s not recommended to use autofill on the credit card field. I am not sure what can be done from our end since this is a chrome’s security related feature.
