Customizing Subscription Details

Hi. We use the Stripe Subscription plugin. Currently, when someone purchases a subscription the only description listed in the Stripe Payment dashboard is “Subscription”. Is there a way to customize this to show what subscription is purchased? Thank you.

Do you mean “Subscriptions” page of Stripe Dashboard https://dashboard.stripe.com/subscriptions or some other page? Please clarify.

No, I mean when I download my payment information, it only lists “Subscription creation” under the details.

I know in the Stripe Dashboard I can edit the description, but what I want to do is to have it automatically list “Monthly Grow Subscription” or whatever the subscription is they purchased.

You are looking at the “payments” tab in Stripe. That won’t have the info you are looking for. Go to the following interface in your Stripe account:

Customers -> Subscriptions

Then click on a customer and it will show you the item the subscription is for.

Also, you can look inside our plugin’s “subscriptions” menu. Click on the “View details” link for a subscription and it will have additional details. The link in the “ID” column takes you to the page in Stripe that has more details also.

Thanks. Sorry, I’m not explaining myself clearly. We need to keep track of all the client’s payments for each subscription within the client’s contact record. When I export the subscription payment info it doesn’t tell me what subscription the client is subscribed to. On the payments dashboard it just says subscription, when I go to the subscription area and download the information it gives me a string of ID numbers. What I want is a way so that it shows me which subscription they are paying for, without me going into different screens and looking it up manually. Thanks.

Thank you for your clarification.

We can update Subscriptions add-on to show your product name instead of Subscription creation description.
