Home › Forums › Stripe Payments Plugin › Checkout result says incorrect amount for subscription (adds 2 more zeros!!)
I just tested a subscription payment button and the checkout page said the item price paid was $1,500.00
The subscription is actually $15.00 (which it correctly showed before processing the payment).
I’m doing this in test mode, but I’d hate for this to happen in real life (at least for my customers!)
What’s going on?
Hi Elisa.
Can you share a link to the page with your payment button so I can have a closer look?
Hi!
Here’s the page:[papermepretty.co.uk/join-uk]
You’ll need to scroll down to the first price table and select the button that says “Join Monthly”.
(As I’m testing I was just adding the payment link to the button and not altering my landing page, so the landing page price is not the same)
I think I just figured out what was causing the bonus zeros post payment!
The test subscription I created had variable currency enabled.
But looking through a previous query in the forum here, I saw someone ask whether multiple currencies worked with subscriptions (which they don’t apparently).
So I created another test subscription (one currency only) and the checkout results page was fine.
