Hi, I am trying to enable a coupon code in my stripe form, but for some reason the coupon code field is not showing. I am using custom fields add-on, wondering there is a conflict with that? any ideas to get it fixed?
Thanks,
Which version of Custom fields addon are you using? If you temporarily deactivate that addon, does the coupon field show?
Check the following two items please:
1) Go to the coupons menu and make sure the “Enable Coupons” field is enabled.
2) Edit the product in question, then scroll to the section labelled “Coupon Settings”. Check if the coupon is disabled there.
Sorry didn’t get to follow up on this one earlier. I found the root cause. In our product configuration, we set the one-time price of $0, and use variable group to control the price. Apparently that disabled the coupon code. If we put some price in the one-time price field, the coupon code will appear in the form. Seems like a bug to me. Thanks.
Originally, we decided to not show the coupon code field for product with $0 amount. I think it will be better to just show the coupon code field all the time (if it is enabled). So I will check it out and apply an update to it.
Thanks. That makes sense to me.
