Stripe payment plugins for your WordPress site

I am using test mode at the moment.
When a user subscribes they are not currently a wP user of my site. When they subscribe they become a user. I am seeing that a WP user is not automatically created.
You see, they then get access to restricted parts of the site. Why is a user not being created and how do I restrict content only to those with an active subscription?
Hi, We don’t advertise this feature for the subscriptions addon.
Normally, to restrict content, you use a membership type plugin with this. You can check the membership plugin integration options it currently has on the following documentation:
Hello
This is a wordpress plugin but yet it is not connected to a WP user. For example, I need a user to be able to cancel their subscription via a button. This cannot be done as there is no connection to a wp user. The membership plugin integrations I see there I assume will cost be even more money. It seems I have wasted my money, I cant use this.
Edit – I installed WP Simple membership. But how do I integrate this with Stripe Subscriptions Plugin? How do I connect a membership level to a subscription?
Let me know if the following documentation is helpful:
Accept Stripe Payments Plugin Integration for Membership Payment
In summary, when you create/edit the subscription product, you will see a section called “Simple Membership Level” where you can connect the product to a membership level.
