Tagged: customfields, metadata
Since the latest update, custom field data is not sending to stripe as metadata nor is it saving in the order since the latest update (2.0.56) to version of the core plugin.
To confirm, the custom fields are required and data is being entered into them by users which we have tested with a live submission.
We are also having problems with the metadata/custom fields not operating with our payments. This is causing a lot of confusion as to who is making payments unfortunetely.
Did this happen upon the latest update as well?
WordPress recommended us to make a couple of changes to the core plugin’s code that affected this custom fields feature. So we had to redo and adjust the custom fields addon accordingly (to make sure the same feature is still available).
In the plugins menu of your wp dashboard, You should see an upgrade option for the custom fields addon. Please upgrade the custom fields addon to v2.0.7. Let me know how it goes after that.
Hi I have the same issue, am running update v2.0.7 and I can confirm the issue persists, I have contacted support too.
We received your email and replied there with some questions to help troubleshoot it.
We are using version 2.0.6 of the Additional Custom Fields add-on.
There is no update available in WordPress Admin > Plugins.
We are using Accept Stripe Payments 2.0.53. There IS an update available for this. However, when we update the Custom Fields stop working. They are displayed for the user, but there is no custom field data being sent to Stripe.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Matt

Thank you for your help. Their license was actually expired so once they renewed I was able to update to 2.0.7 and everything is working. Thanks again!
