How do I create a onetime payment for my customer to pay now and then a monthly payment afterward?
For example, I have a product that is $999.00 up front and then $349.00 per month afterward. How would I set this up?
I have the stripe payment plugin with the subscription add on.
Thanks
As far as I know, Stripe doesn’t offer that kind of option in their subscription at the moment.
Ok..thanks..really quick question.
If I set up a subscription for 199.00 to be billed every 30 days does that mean the customer will be billed 199.00 today and 199.00 in 30 days later or will they pay nothing today and their first payment will be due in 30 days?
What I want is for the customer not to have to pay anything today but have their first payment in 30 days. So would I just set up a subscription but with a 29 day trial period for them to be billed on the 30th day?
I think I answered my own question
“If you include a trial period, the customers won’t be charged until the trial period ends. Put “0” if you don’t offer trial period for this plan.”
But I want to make sure
Yes, you are right about the trial period. If you create a trial period then they will ONLY be charged AFTER the trial period is over.
If you create a subscription WITHOUT the trial, then they will be charged today (on the day or the transaction) and then after every billing interval.
Ok cool thanks
