How do coupons apply to subscriptions?

Hi there. Do coupons apply to only the first payment within a subscription, or do they apply to all recurring payments within a subscription?

For example, I’d like to offer a membership that is $375 per month, but have a coupon I can give to some people that makes it $275 per month forever.

Discount coupon is a new feature that doesn’t yet work with the subscriptions addon. We will work on expanding the coupon feature to the subscription pricing.

In the meantime, you can crate a NEW subscription product that offers the discounted price. Then put this subscription product on a “special offer” page and share that page with the user (instead of a coupon code).

Why does the coupon field not showing up even I selected the option “enabled” for the coupon settings.

The subscription plan is something that needs to be created in your Stripe account. So stripe doesn’t offer a good/easy option for dynamically applying a discount to a subscription plan. We have plans to come up with a solution so discount can be applied to subscription plans.
