Customer Created, payment not taken.
Anyone got any ideas what to do here.
I just did a live transaction with my card, payment processed fine.
When I’ve logged into stripe, the customer has been created, but no payment created.
Its a subscription plan I’ve created.
I’m concerned this could be happing for other clients, and I’ll lose a bundle when i push this live.
Tim
looking into stripe I can see:
customer.created (succeeded)
customer.card.created (succeeded)
account.application.authorized (succeeded)
But no payment, no emails gone out to the customer either.
Could the fact, I’ve created a custom ‘Thank you’ page have any affect on this?
Tim
Can you please enable the debug option in the plugin then do a test transaction so you can see if our plugin is processing everything successfully on the pulgin’s side?
The following documentation explains how to use the Stripe plugin’s debug logging feature:
Using the Debug Log to Solve Transaction Related Issues on a Site
Ah! 🙂 I’ll buzz off and try that.
All the best
Tim
So I’ve run the debug. Its showing some errors.
It looks like the system is trying to use test tokens, instead of the live.
I’ve copied and pasted the correct details in, checked again.
Ran the test and getting the same error.
Is it safe to share the full log here on the forum?
Tim
Actually, looks like something screwy is going on with the product associated with the subscription.
Probably my fault 🙂 I’ll rebuild the product, and try again.
Will report back.
Tim
Fixed 🙂
Thanks for all your help.
