Hi.
Update core plugin and APM addon to latest versions (there were some bugs fixed related to Apple Pay).
In new API, Apple Pay button appears in payment popup. When you click payment button that shows popup, Apple Pay would be selected as default payment option (if it’s supported by device). If it’s not – it won’t be displayed at all.
I am on Stripe Payments version 2.0.10 and Stripe Additional Payment Methods Add-on version 2.0.2 which seem to be the latest versions.
I don’t see Apple Pay anywhere, either on an iPhone or in Safari on a Mac.
Is the addon enabled in the settings?
Also try to re-approve domain with Apple just in case (by clicking the button from the addon settings).
I tried that, but it hasn’t made a difference.
The add-on is enabled.
The sequence of events is. I have a page where someone can choose to pay with apple pay. I disable the legacy API, and if I refresh the product page, the apple pay button is gone. And there’s no option to pay with apple pay, if I just click the normal pay button. If I reenable the legacy API and refresh the product page, the Apple Pay buttons come back.
Can you please send the URL with your payment button via contact form? https://s-plugins.com/contact-us/
I have sent it just now. The Legacy API is disabled at the moment, so you can see that the Apple Pay buttons are not there.
Sorry. I can see now that the Apple Pay option comes up when it’s a single one-off purchase. It’s when it’s a subscription that the Apple Pay option doesn’t appear any more. Is that intentional?
