There are various different things the spammers try so I won’t be able to tell you exactly what happened in your scenario without looking at all the income server request data. The captcha will stop all of those anyway and solve the issue.

There is an additional price verification that is done by our plugin after a successful API response. The post payment processing script will look at the webhook data sent by Stripe and match the price value with the data saved in the database for that product. If that validation fails, it won’t add to the orders menu (since it is not a valid transaction).

There is a lot more technical stuff that happens underneath, if you are interested, use the contact form to email us and I will give you more info.

Doh! I completely missed that setting. Thanks for pointing it out – have enabled it now.

I have also enabled Zip code validation as an extra check.

Do you have any insight into how they managed to change the product price for the transaction. Is there anything I can do to prevent it or is this something that needs a change to the plugin?

(FYI “Security Token Check” is enabled – i.e. “disable” checkbox is unchecked)

Hi,

We need to add some validation to custom fields – check that two email fields match before allowing a purchase to go ahead.

I have tried adding <script> tags to the description which should accept html according to documentation but these are being rendered as text – possibly for security reasons.

Custom validation should be possible according to this post:

Can you let us know how to achieve this please?
I am comfortable with javascript, regex etc. and could probably edit php if necessary.

We need to validate a phone number custom field
We need to validate character count on Client’s Name custom field

If you’re ok with JavaScript RegExp, we can add its support for ACF addon. If you’re not very good at JavaScript RegExp (I’m not much of an expert here either), I can try to assist you in composing the rules, provided you can explain the rules of validation for your Customer Name and Phone Number fields.

But to be frank, there were not much requests for custom fields validation, that’s why there is not much comes up when you search.

How do you validate each custom field?

Right now you have a validation option under Advanced Settings. This setting is global and is of no use to us for individual custom fields. Your plugin is awesome and I am glad Stripe recommended you but can you help us on how to validate custom fields only.

Just send all variables by every click to buy button to php script that would be saved all variables to seesion? Maybe exist some js function where I can put needed function after errors? So info will be send after js validation passed? Thanks you.
