Hello, I just read that iDEAL payments are only possible with Stripe accounts from the Netherlands or the United States, whereas we operate in Canada. We get quite a few Dutch clients, so we want to offer them iDEAL as a payment option.
Is there a way to still set this up? I’m Dutch myself, but I believe our Stripe account was set up in Canada.
I don’t know if our Stripe account is from the Netherlands after all, but the iDEAL option has been added to the payments panel, so I’m assuming it has been implemented.
If it’s enabled in your Stripe account and you installed the iDeal addon, it should be working. If unsure, you could ask the folks from Stripe if your residence is an issue.
