Hi there.
Is it possible to create a subscription with a minimum amount ($25/mo), but also allow the user to enter any amount of their choosing above this figure?
Our client has a recurring donations scheme where donors can make minimum donations of $25/mo, but can nominate any figure above this to be part of a special group of supporters.
At the moment, when setting up the subscription, under “Amount” we have chosen to add the $25 amount, and then checked the box that says “Make amount variable”, but when testing on the frontend, this just shows an empty box where donors can place any amount they wish (we tested it with $1) and it will be accepted.
Can you please advise.
With the variable price you are allowing your customer to specify the amount. There is no option to do a minimum amount for that.
What you can do is put a text message below the subscription button (or in the product description) that clearly explains what is the minimum you are willing to accept. If anyone pays less then you can cancel the subscription and not deliver the service. If you explain it in the description of the product, then the visitors will pay within the range you are advertising.
